Year Two Leavers Performance

Year Two children performed their amazing leavers show called 'The Captain's Treasure' to parents, pupils, staff, governors and members of the Junior School this week. Each and every child committed themselves to their role whether that be a swash buckling pirate, a dancing mermaid, a singing jungle animal, a dramatic storm maker or a dancing sea monster. The performance made the audience laugh and cry and the children received huge applause. As their final song proclaimed...they were AWESOME!

We wish our Year Two children the very best of luck as they move on their learning journey into Year Three.

Beauty and the Beast at Perins

We are incredibly proud of five Year Two pupils who took part in Perins production of Beauty and the Beast. These five children attended Perins every day for a week to rehearse their scenes. They had the opportunity to become part of the cast, watch other actors and actresses rehearse, go back stage, try on some of the costumes and be part of the technical rehearsal.

Year Two children were able to watch their peers in the dress rehearsal and it was wonderful to see our youngest stars shine on the stage.

It was a very tiring week for the Sun Hill actors as they took part in all 6 performances but they rose to the occasion and were exceptional ambassadors for the school. We are all very, very proud of their commitment, talent and dedication.
