  • Sports Relief

    Friday 21st March - Sports Relief!

     

    The children and staff had a fantastic day raising money for Sports Relief.

     

    The day started with parents, children and staff either running around the field for their Sport Relief Mile or dancing in the hall to 5-a-day.

     

    The children then gathered in the hall to learn more about Sport Relief and to sing the Sport Relief song.

     

    After that, we all gathered on the field for a whole school warm up. The children then had the opportunity to participate in two different sporting events, run by staff, parents, or members from the local community. Children worked across all year groups and enjoyed yoga, fitness circuits, cross country running,  mini paralympics, dodgeball, pop dance, football, 5-a-day, assault course and hoola-hooping.

     

    A fun day was had by all. Many thanks go to Mrs Grant for running Pop Dance and to Perins staff and pupils for running fitness circuits.
