History Curriculum Intent

 

At Sun Hill Infant and Preschool, we want our children to understand how things have changed in their own lifetime and beyond and to understand how key events and significant people from Britain and the wider world have shaped their lives today.

Our teaching of History will help pupils gain knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world to build respect, appreciation, and pride of their country.
