Spring One Week Four

Hi Year Two,

We know we have said it a few times during our live lessons, but we just wanted to tell you again that we are so, so, so proud of you! We know it can't be easy being at home all the time and learning on a screen but you are amazing us with your perseverance, your resilience and your positivity. We are the luckiest teachers to be working with such hard working and enthusiastic children. Thank you for joining in with all the learning and sharing it with us on Seesaw. It's so good to know that we are all still learning together even though we can't actually be together. It means that when we finally get to return to school, we will all have experienced the same things which we can then build upon to help you move even further along the learning line.

Don't forget that we all learn at a different pace. When we're learning a new skill we might understand it quite quickly or we might need to practice it for a longer time to help us feel confident and secure. If there is any learning from the past few weeks that you still want to practice this week then please do - some skills really do need a bit more time.

We really hope you enjoy the learning this week and we can't wait to see you on the live lesson! Take care and keep safe,

Mrs Wilson, Dr D and Miss Riley

This weeks mental maths learning is 'The Place Value Game' or the 'Nice and Nasty Game'. To find out how to play this game, watch our short video under the 'Year Two' section of the 'School Video' page.
