Spring One Week Five

Hi Year One,

 

We just wanted to say how proud we are of all of you and we know that some days it is hard to find the motivation to begin the learning.

This week is 'Children's Mental Health' week and this is definitely a time when we need to be looking after each others well being. Why not try a daily Cosmic Yoga session at home - everyone in your family could join in and it is very good for keeping your minds and bodies relaxed. It would be a great way to start the day. Try to do something everyday that makes you happy (this could be the same thing every day or something different each day! The list is endless but might include lego, drawing, painting, cooking, craft, running outside, riding a bike, jumping in puddles) or makes someone else smile. We would love you to share pictures of any thing that makes you happy this week. This week Mrs Willcocks is making cards to send to her friends and family - maybe you would enjoy making a card for someone special to you? This would definitely make them smile.

We are also looking forward to cooking again on Friday afternoon - don't forget to send us a picture of you enjoying your finished flapjacks!
