After you have practiced your common exception words this morning, I would love for you to show me everything that you have learnt about feelings and mental health from the past two weeks. I have uploaded a video to explain this activity and I have made a short video as an example.
You can show your learning in anyway that you want. You could make a poster, create something on Seesaw, make a video, write a mini book, etc.
If you want to create a video like I have, you could download the app 'Shadow Puppet Edu' that we have used before in school.
I look forward to seeing what you have created on Seesaw!
Once you have finished your mental health learning this morning please make sure you have a good break, drink and snack!
I have one more thing I would like you to practice before lunch and it's all about colour. I have uploaded a short video to the website to explain what I would like you to do (under the school video zone) and I have uploaded the documents you will need below and the links to the videos about Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh.
Enjoy exploring the world of colour!
Some of the above documents do not need to be downloaded and printed e.g. 'English editing visual' and 'Creative underwater creatures'. These documents can be viewed on line.
When downloading the maths task for after the live lesson, you can choose whether your child needs to practice sorting regular or irregular 2D shapes (they do not need to do both).
For RE and Spelling, there are supporting videos that will be uploaded to the 'Year Two' section on the 'School Video' webpage.
There are two maths tasks for after the live lesson but you do not need to complete both. One is to consolidate learning from the live lesson and the other is to extend and challenge if sorting into a Venn diagram feels comfortable.
For PE, please enjoy any physical activity of your choice that you enjoy doing at home!
